Context of the problem.
Berco Car Carpets called on BIT Hotmelt Technology to help solve a production issue affecting their automotive carpet manufacturing process. As a specialist in textile car mats for the automotive industry, Berco supplies various leading car brands.
With different car brands and models, comes a variety of car mats, each with unique shapes and materials. To identify the mats during production, recognition stickers are applied. However, Berco Car Carpets encountered a problem—these stickers failed to adhere properly to certain mat materials, causing them to detach.
This disruption led to confusion in the production process, increasing the risk of misplaced mats, such as a Jaguar mat ending up in a Mercedes. To prevent this, Berco turned to BIT Hotmelt Technology for an effective adhesion solution.

- Using Henkel Super 150 Adhesive
BIT Hotmelt Technology conducted multiple tests to determine which adhesive ensures the identification stickers remain securely attached. The results showed that Henkel Super 150 adhesive bonds effectively to all types of car mats. This adhesive will be used in the adhesive application system. - Adhesive Application System
An adhesive application system has been integrated into the production process. This system enhances the speed and precision of sticker application. The implementation of the adhesive system has been carried out without disrupting production.
